Digital Manufacturing
at Every Layer

Modern manufacturing competitiveness is an information problem. The manufacturers gaining ground are the ones who can see what's happening on the production floor in real time, predict equipment failures before they happen, and optimise supply chains with accurate demand data. We build the software that makes that possible.

Our industrial software practice covers the full OT/IT convergence stack from edge device connectivity and time-series data collection through to MES systems, supply chain platforms, and executive dashboards. We work with MQTT, OPC-UA, and industrial IoT protocols alongside standard cloud infrastructure.

We understand the unique constraints of manufacturing environments always-on requirements, network isolation, legacy PLC integration, and the human factors of software that operators and floor managers need to trust and use every day.

Unplanned Downtime

Predictive maintenance models that detect equipment anomalies before failure turning reactive maintenance into scheduled intervention.

Production Visibility

Real-time OEE dashboards, WIP tracking, yield monitoring, and shift performance reporting across single or multi-site operations.

Supply Chain Fragility

Demand forecasting, supplier performance monitoring, inventory optimisation, and multi-tier supply chain visibility platforms.

Quality Control

Computer vision quality inspection, SPC charting, non-conformance management, and root cause analysis workflows that reduce scrap and rework.

Before Tech Laurel's predictive maintenance system, we had three to four unplanned line stoppages per month averaging four hours each. In the twelve months since go-live, we've had one. The ROI was visible within the first quarter.

Manufacturing
Questions

Yes. We have experience connecting to Siemens, Rockwell Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Beckhoff PLCs via OPC-UA, Modbus TCP, and proprietary protocols. Where direct connectivity isn't possible, we deploy edge gateways that bridge the protocol gap without requiring PLC software changes.

We design with network segmentation as a first-class requirement keeping OT networks isolated while enabling secure, one-way data flows to IT systems and cloud platforms. We implement data diodes and DMZ architectures where required, and work with your OT security team to ensure the architecture meets your requirements.

A single-site IoT monitoring implementation with a real-time dashboard can be live in 8–12 weeks. A full MES implementation with multi-site connectivity, predictive models, and ERP integration typically runs 6–12 months. We always start with a pilot site to validate the approach and demonstrate value before rolling out across the operation.
